We have a 15-minute introductory call, say hello and talk briefly about where you are right now in your career or search. Then we'll tell you more about SLC, our background and how we may be able to help in finding the best fit for you. Throughout our process, the goal is to get to know you and what your personal, professional and financial goals are, as well as your overall timeline. Timing is everything and we work at your pace.
This is not formal, no suit and tie is needed.
Our team would like to meet with you on Zoom (or other medium) and put a face with the name, talking more in-depth about your business strengths and what motivates you. We also want to get to know you as a person and understand what's important to you. Are you a sole provider? Is leaving a legacy important? Do you want to build something with family, friends or colleagues? Our team will ask some tough questions to help you figure out what you truly desire and put together options that align with your skillsets, financial needs/requirements, and, most importantly, your goals.

Finding the right fit is key. If we can wave that cheesy, proverbial magic wand and find the right opportunity for you, what would you want it to look like? What can you really see yourself doing in a business as the CEO? Not doing the day-to-day grind or hands-on work, really building a solid business and organization that will grow and be something that makes you smile.
In this step, our team will focus on identifying and presenting the best business models for you. Whether that's a franchise, license, business for sale or start-up, we have over 100 opportunities and are happy to present as many as necessary to find the right fit for you. After the presentation, we will provide you with all the information for each opportunity, including all the materials provided by our Client. We can also introduce you to our partners to discuss financing options who can help you review the different options available to you and best practices for reviewing all information.
After we've shown you some amazing opportunities, you will simply provide us with feedback. What did you like? What can we cross off the list? Is there an area we missed? What area(s), categories or industries would you like to see more of or dig deeper into? There is no commitment of any kind to work with us or talk to our Clients, the process is free to you.
Once you've selected a client(s), SLC will formally introduce you to the executive teams at our Clients (Vice Presidents of Sales, Franchising and more) so you can begin your own due diligence with them.
We all work as a team and communicate regularly to make sure they're a fit for you and you're a fit for them. No one is trying to sell you a business, if everyone feels there is a fit, they will offer you an opportunity at the end of the process.
